Support for Neurodivergent Teens and Adults
WHO WE WORK WITH
We support:
-
Teens aged 16+ and adults, including but not just those navigating autism and/or ADHD
-
Individuals exploring a possible diagnosis
-
Students managing study, focus, and workload challenges
-
Adults balancing work, responsibilities, and mental load
-
Health professionals and educators navigating neurodivergence for themselves or their clients/students
-
People who have tried therapy before but felt it did not quite fit
You don't need a formal diagnosis to begin.
Support that adapts to you

Our work is guided by a neuro-affirming approach, which means:
-
We don't assume that one way of thinking, learning, or processing is “correct”
-
We take time to understand your unique patterns and preferences
-
We adjust the way we work to suit you
No two people experience neurodivergence in the same way. Rather than applying a fixed method, we learn from you and shape the work together.
WHAT WE CAN WORK ON TOGETHER
Support is tailored to your goals and may include:

Understanding how you work
-
Making sense of attention, focus, and energy patterns
-
Identifying strengths as well as challenges
Emotional wellbeing
-
Working with anxiety, overwhelm, or burnout
-
Building self-understanding and self-acceptance

Practical strategies
-
Approaches to study, work, and daily tasks
-
Managing time, organisation, and follow-through
Life transitions
-
Navigating school, university, or workplace expectations
-
Adjusting to new roles or responsibilities

When other approaches didn't work
Some people come to us after trying other approaches that did not feel helpful.
This can happen when:
-
The timing may not have been right
-
You felt misunderstood or too scared to continue
-
You now have a diagnosis of autism, ADHD, or both
-
You really want support and somewhere safe to try again
This does not mean support cannot be helpful.
It may mean the approach needs to be different.
Flexible and individualised sessions
We recognise that traditional therapy settings don't suit everyone.
Where appropriate, sessions can include:
-
Walk and talk sessions
-
Meeting in community settings such as cafés
-
Online sessions
-
In-clinic sessions
-
Supported sessions with a carer present
We can also adjust pacing, structure, and communication style to suit you better.
Working with complexity
Some neurodivergent individuals have also experienced stress, adversity, or trauma over time.

Where this is part of your experience, we can work in a way that is:
-
Careful
-
Respectful
-
Paced according to your needs
You are not required to share anything before you are ready.
WHAT SUPPORT CAN OFFER YOU
This work may support you to:

Better understand how you think and process information and emotions

Reduce overwhelm and develop strategies that align with how you function

Navigate study, work, and relationships with more clarity and understanding
The focus is not on changing who you are, but on supporting you to live and function in ways that feel more sustainable.
Considering screening?
If you are exploring ADHD or autism, you may be wondering whether screening may be helpful.
We can support you to:
-
Talk it through
-
Understand what screening involves
-
Decide whether it is the right step for you
We will support you throughout the screening process and answer any questions you have.
